The JEOL JSM-7000F scanning electron microscope offers good resolution and a automated specimen stage for quick sample exchange for convenient characterization of nanostructures. The resolution obtainable is a few 10s of nm. At the heart of the microscope is a Schottky field emission gun with adjustable acceleration voltages between 0.5 to 30 kV.
