IMNC26 / 2-3 November / University of Twente

MicroNanoConference

2 – 3 November 2026

University of Twente

Where industry meets science, where problems can find solutions, where employers meet future talent and where trends, challenges and new technologies are highlighted.

The international MicroNanoConference (iMNC) brings together science and industry to showcase how micro-, nano- and quantumtechnology can help addressing our societal challenges. The conference will cover a wide range of application areas, with a strong focus on the key enabling technologies: micro- and nanotechnology as well as the rapidly evolving field of quantum technology. This conference is organized by MinacNed, an association of European industries and knowledge institutes active in micro-, nano- and quantum technology together with NanoLabNL, which is organizing its User Day as part of the iMNC. We work together on an exciting two-day program with (keynote) speakers from universities, research institutes and industry, break-out sessions on societal challenges and themes, and an evening program on Monday 2 November 2026. The language at the MicroNanoConference is English.

The MinacNed Board and iMNC Program Committee consist of volunteer experts from academia and industry, keen on boasting collaborative activities in the Dutch ecosystem and surrounding countries. The scientific program of the international MicroNanoConference is put together by our Program Committee. This group invites renowned speakers from the Dutch and international technology community, selects submitted abstracts for oral or poster presentations, and offers a podium for researchers at the start of their career.

NanoLabNL maintains and develops the Dutch national infrastructure for nanotechnology. Our laboratories, equipment, knowledge and network in nanotech make NanoLabNL the ideal starting point for research, development and small-batch production on an atomic scale. The User Day brings together personnel, users and decision makers from all Dutch NanoLabs: Zernike NanoLab (Groningen), MESA+ NanoLab (Enschede), AMOLF NanoLab (Amsterdam), from Delft Kavli NanoLab, Else Kooi Lab and TNO NanoLab, and last but not least the NanoLab@TU/e (Eindhoven).

The iMNC brings the MinacNed and NanoLabNL interest groups together. It is an ideal opportunity to meet a large number of potential partners and customers in the Dutch ecosystem.

Both MinacNed and NanoLabNL encourage young researchers to participate and have a special incentive program for master students presenting their work, making it a great spot for meeting future talent.
